FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC

Chiropractic treatment (in adults and children) is considered to be one of the most cost-effective treatments for neck and lower back pain.

For this reason, MOST medical insurance plans cover chiropractic services.  To ensure that you have insurance coverage, have your information available when you make your initial appointment so our staff can verify your benefits.

The Benefits of Chiropractic

The Research and Statistics:

Majority of patients that seek chiropractic treatment report that they are "very satisfied" with their care, and for a reason. In a consumer survey, chiropractic outperformed all other back pain treatments, including prescription medication, deep-tissue massage, yoga, pilates, and over-the-counter medication therapies.
A systematic review/meta-analysis published in the Journal of the American Medical Association in 2017, supports he use of spinal manipulative therapy as a first-line treatment for acute low back pain.  Furthermore, the American College of Physicians (2017) released an update to its low back pain treatment guideline that recommends first using non-drug treatments, such as spinal manipulation (a centerpiece of chiropractic care), for acute and chronic low back pain.

Did you know...?

  • The risks associated with spinal manipulation are extremely low and rare (the most common risk being minor soreness following your first adjustment), making chiropractic an extremely safe option compared to the risks of surgical intervention or taking medications.

  • Chiropractic is a safe and effective practice during pregnancy.  In fact, there are many benefits of regular adjustments during pregnancy for both mother and baby; including a smoother labor and delivery by addressing imbalances in the pelvis joints.

  • New studies show that patients who saw a chiropractor for skeletal-muscular pain were almost 50 percent less likely to receive opioid medications than patients who sought healthcare options other than chiropractic care.
